Google Form

Google Forms Can Now Automatically Grade Quizzes Without an Add-ons

Now you do not have to use Flubaroo to grade your quizzes in Google Forms. Create your quiz in Forms and go to settings and choose your options.   Watch the clip below.

Accelerate the feedback loop: Quizzes in Google Forms
Getting feedback early helps students learn and teachers teach. Starting today, Quizzes in Google Forms will allow teachers to auto-grade multiple choice and checkbox questions — so teachers can spend less time grading and more time teaching.

Teachers can also add review materials in the form of explanations, supplemental websites or review videos — so students can get quick, actionable feedback. Plus, teachers can get instant feedback on student progress, so they know which lessons need more explanation and what to teach next. We’ve also added a common request from educators to disallow students from sending themselves a copy of their responses.

Ganado ISD Technology Department

Teachers and Students Make IT Happen

2016-17 school year GISD will be moving 1:1 at the Junior High and High School.  All students will checkout a Chromebook to use in class and at home.  Teachers and students will be receiving training to help with the implementation of the technology.

Last year, we implemented a pilot program where students were able to bring their own device or check out a Chromebook out from the district.  Through this process it was decided that it would be better for all students to have the same type of device.

Also, in the elementary each  teacher  1st -5th will have five Chromebooks in their classroom plus each grade level will share a cart of 25 Chromebooks.  PK-Kinder classrooms will have iPads and Chromebooks to use in centers.
